Today's Pole of the Day is an interesting one--it consists of many poles as a matter of fact! Here, you can see two transformer banks mounted on wooden platforms in a very interesting pole structure! I'm thinking these poles and platforms went up in the late 1930's or the 1940's, judging by the solid copper wire, old Westinghouse lightning arresters, and the wooden pins. Before i go to Maryland for 6 weeks im gonna go on one more photo route to the west in Alberta. im gonna go to Pincher Creek, AB for shots of the wind farm and the new Altalink 240kv switch station. I will also be going into the mountains to Coleman, AB for shots of their weird municipal... also for shots of the 138kv/25kv substation near by. heres some thing i think should be done. display albums in your photostream. when scrolling down to the bottom of your photostream where it shows the pgae number it should say the number of photos you have. when clicking on also see in on a photo it should show the number of photos in either the group, photostream or album. AND PLEASE IPERNITY NEVER RUIN YOUR SITE LIKE YAHOO DID!!!!!

just found out that when im in maryland that i will be spending two weeks down in Florida!!!!! on the way i will get shots of Duke Energy, Gerorgia Power, Progress Energy, Dominon Virginia Power and Florida Power And Light (FP&L) they use 13.2kv/7.6kv wye.
