Callistemon and cobweb

Callistemon and cobweb
When our dog takes me for my morning walk, over recent days I've been admiring these backlit callistemon flowers. Today I took the little camera with me - and the cobweb was a bonus. Best on black.

Thank you, Phil. The individual flowers each have many stamens. They form along the stem and, when opened, create cylindrical hairy flower spikes - as seen on the lowest flower. The individual flowers (some, at the outer ends, still opening) can be seen better on the top and middle examples. In the back, near the middle clusters, is a stem that has finished. The bottlebrushes are a large family and also have been hybridised, so I'd hesitate to guess which this is. I should also note that this general style of hairy composite (often cylindrical) flower head is fairly common to quite a few of our native flowers.
