Our Summer in Lyme Regis and yet I hear on the radio that our tourist industry was not happy with the small amount of stay-vacations this year. A great capture and it looks like someone is enjoying the outlook.

Weather wet today but enjoy the week never the less.

There were certainly a lot of ice creams being sold this day Herb. I think Lyme has done well this year, even though the car park charges have almost doubled. I have to admit, it was very cheap to park there until recently.

I've been to Lyme Regis but never visited these gardens..........the view from up there is just fantastic! Beautifully composed and taken Rosa.

The beach looks very crowded..........not really my thing, but to be expected in the summer, I suppose. Load of boats in the bay as well..!!

The gardens are big and in beautiful sections all along and high above the promenade. You can also get to the High Street from them. You would love them Keith :-)

The sandy beach was crowded, but we expected that on such a hot day and school holidays. The other coves were less crowded and one of them great for investigating rock pools.

You've given a delightful presentation of this original setting, combining lawn and garden, beach and marina, which exudes well-being and tranquillity, Rosa. What a lovely sight!

In PiP, the seagulls seem to have decided to repaint this very nice lamp post in white. But it's going to take a long time ;)
