An enticing view through that doorway Rosa..........and nicely framed. I like the overhanging branches and their shadows.

The rose in the PiP is quite stunning.........such a gorgeous and subtle pink colour captured in lovely detail. The tiny bud behind it is also lovely. Both stand out well against the darker background.

It was like waling between rooms and each garden was different Keith. I am pleased you like the main shot, thank you.

There were quite a few roses still in bloom but this delicate pink rose took my eye, and the scent was just as good. Thank you again for your kind words on the PiP.

I've already commented on your lovely series on Athelhampton (this photo has a lot of charm too), so I'll stick with this rose, which has very delicate tones indeed, and which you've captured with a true grace. It's a real photographic and floral delight, Rosa!
