Such a gorgeous little flower.........I love the star-shape and the subtle green-white colours.

You've capture this series beautifully Rosa........lovely light, nicely composed and sharp and detail where they need to be. The main image in particular, with its slightly darker background makes the flowers stand out very well.........but I like the PiPs very much as well. All the images have very complementary out of focus backgrounds too,.

OFTEN PLANTED AMONGST VEGETABLE PLANTS AS NIOCTIANA IS NATURAL BUG KILLER OR PERSUADER !!

I didn't know that Pam. There were so many of them grown from seed that the last of them were actually planted in the veg garden by the runner beans :-))

A beautiful series of images Rosa. I love these unusual flowers- they look like little stars. I particularly like the PiPs as the bright colours of the other flowers seem to make the Nicotiana stand out. Would these flowers be the source of 'tobacco' based toiletry and perfumery goods, as I know they don't smell like tobacco either!!!

I didn't know what to expect from them Carol. They were all leaf to begin with and only flower when they are quite tall, but we are very pleased with them, and they stand up to the weather well. Many thanks for your kind comment.

Nice flowers with the bonus of the scent, have the seeds but haven't sown any of them you would need a field for all the free seeds I'm waiting to see if I get any red and white strawberries a few more showers today but at you say better than the heat
