It's made for a lovely shiny reflective pavement. Love the flagstones.

That is a bonus Jean. We took shelter in St Chad's church from the rain. They had a Christmas Tree Festival, but my pictures of it were rubbish! Thank you for your kind comments.

My fave of the tree images Rosa..............I love narrow streets like this, especially in the rain when the paving stones are wet and reflect the light so beautifully. An excellent shot!

The flagstones look superb in the rain, Rosa. You have caught Shrewsbury at its best in this weather.

A gust of wind almost blew us back down the hill Amelia, but I was pleased with this shot, in the circumstances :)

At least with the rain you didn't have to many people to contend with !!!!! how many did you take and discover you had raindrops on the lens ?? I hope you have nice Sunday Rosalyn

That's true Peter. The rain was quite heavy and I had an umbrella in one hand and the camera in the other....until a gust of wind almost blew the lot away! I think my next trip to Shropshire will be in the summer :) Hope you have a good Sunday as well.
