Three beautiful photos of a coast full of interest! The clouds in the sky are perfect and much more interestig than just blue skies.

The sky makes such a difference Gudrun, as we have all found out. It was a bit windy on the beach though :)

A fantastic trio of images Rosa..........all really lovely! This main image is definitely my fave of the set.............glorious light, beautifully composed, with people in shot for scale. A top-notch image!

This is great my friend. Tenby has such great lighting, if one is lucky and you have caught it here in bucket loads. I think it was mainly raining when I was there, some years back though :(

I love the low viewpoint in the top image, Rosa. The beach acts as a great lead in to the cliff and the castle atop the island. The figures add a sense of scale.

In the middle image, the composition is excellent. The colour contrast between beach and sky is excellent. The triangular shape of the sea and the orange and grey tones of the beach create the ideal foreground. The surf acts as a very effective lead-in line to draw the eye to the island. The angle of the light falling on the island and castle is perfect for emphasizing three-dimensionality.

The contrast, in the bottom image, between green and orange is very striking, as is the textural contrast between the ivy and the stonework.

Thank you very much for your kind appraisal of all three shots Joe. By the time I took the third picture, the weather had changed somewhat so a different sky. How I hate all the padlocks on the fence though. A stupid craze in my opinion :-(

Thank you for your great comments. Yes it was rather windy down on the beach. Not too bad in the town with its narrow High Street though. Staying with friends who I try to visit every year was a delight. Lots of nice pub grub too ;-)
