Marvelous home with a very pretty architecture !!!!

It was amazing. It didn't last long enough for me to get to see it, so it's wonderful to have this and the interior photos (very unusual at that time period to have interiors - I think they were perhaps taken to help sell the house?). There are a lot more interior photos, but I didn't want to add too many here. I love them all, but others probably don't have as much interest as me.

I think they hired a professional - perhaps to help sell the house? They were into new inovations. I almost never see interior photos from that time period.

They are wonderful photos. I'm so lucky to have them. I love the tone of them as well.

I'm pretty sure they hired a professional photographer to help them sell the house - or they just wanted to have documentation of their stature? We'll never know. I actually have more interiors photos from this. Just didn't want to over do it here. But for me they are endlessly interesting.

I know! We are so lucky to have these photos (and there are even more interiors). A few of these type homes survive, but I think this one looks cooler than the ones that I can see today. (This one was where a large bank building is now!)

They had money (where did it go? Not to me - ha!) so I think they hired a professional photographer.

gorgeous building, great family document !

the building is a bit crazy as well. its hard to see from this version of the outside, but if you look carefully you realize that the staircase seen on this side of the building goes up and comes back down - there is no door! the staircase is all for looks!! the front door is on the other side.

i am so grateful to have these photos of this house. i love my connection to this city i call home.

I image little ones (my grandfather and his sisters) running amok in all the hiding places. The building itself is long gone - it was located just out of the very city center, and that is now a busy downtown street full of office buildings.
