This "house" floats in Folkestone Harbour in Kent, England. I think it was originally pink when it was made in 2017 but has faded over time. It was one of six made by the artist Richard Woods and placed around the town. They aren't real but were made to draw attention to the housing problems in the area. There are various articles on the interwebnetthingy about the project. The "house" has broken free of its moorings a couple of times but has never escaped to France which lies just over the horizon ... yet. May I wish a Happy Fence Friday to all and add my further wishes for a fine and delightful weekend for everyone. This rickety-looking fence borders a path to the beach at Silver Sands/Watersun in Mandurah. The view is across Comet Bay to Halls Head on the right and to Seashells/Mandurah on the left. The dunes here offer protection from the sea and are themselves protected from predatory developers and real estate agents by legislation: a win-win.
