Images posted to IG
Having got fed-up with Instagram's rubbish search feature making it impossible to check if one has posted an image or not without scrolling through the whole feed, I've decided I'll create an album of images that have been uploaded there too. It will take a while...
Elizabeth Harrod (2)
|
|
|
From All Saints, Hertford. The monument is to Elizabeth Harrod who died in 1730 (or perhaps 1736, the inscription is weathered). Her husband Thomas is also celebrated on this tombstone although he appears to have been added later.
Pentax Q-S1, Pentax Q 01 prime lens.

Susanna Holt (2)

The monument is to Susanna Holt. Unfortunately, I could not read the date that she died but the HMI volume for the churchyard states 5th September 1773, aged 73.
Pentax QS-1, Pentax Q 06 lens.

Humberstone (2)

Tombstone to Thomas Humberstone in the churchyard of St Mary's, Knebworth. He died in 1704 aged 86, just four years before another Thomas Humberstone who died in 1708, aged 38. Perhaps Thomas was Thomas' father or grandfather?

White Roding porch
|
|
The porch of St Martin's, White Roding, Essex. The doorway might be Saxon, and the door itself is clearly very old.
Pentax K-3iii, SMC Pentax-DA 12-24mm f/4 lens. Five exposures blended in Photomatix Pro.
Wilko skulls

Bit desperate for a "Skull Saturday" post. Saw these in Wilko during their closing down sale.
