Spotted during a walk along towpath of the Chichester Ship Canal.

Spotted this colourful bunting flying over a backstreet in my town a few days back. I've no idea what the occasion was, but I just liked the colours against the sky. Have a good weekend everyone!

Also known as a money flower. A neighbour was digging up his Honesty plant and was kind enough to let me grab some seed heads to photograph indoors. Captured in natural light (using a reflector). The background is a sheet of art paper, which I chose to complement the colours in the seed heads. Better viewed large I think.

Taken during my visit on Tuesday this week, showing a closer view of the lake and the huge raft of lily pads. Taken in 16:9 format, so better viewed large.

The view towards the lake. Where I am standing to take the photo is where Leigh Park House used to stand. It was demolished in the late 1950s and the land was given to the people of Leigh Park in perpetuity. This brickwork is all that is left of the house. Taken in 16:9 format, so probably best viewed large. I only visited the park for about an hour and a half.........as it was too hot for me to stay longer. As you can see the grounds were almost deserted, but it was nice to get out and stretch my legs for a while ;-)

I spotted this grass in a neighbour's garden and cut off a piece to photograph indoors. Better viewed large, I think.

Spotted this sitting on a leaf of my lilac tree. A nice surprise as there is no water anywhere near my house. Not seen any others since!

This is in a large pot in my front garden. It has 20 or so of these flower spikes..!!

It's far too hot to go outside to take photos.........so tabletop photography it is..!!

Taken on some waste ground near where I live.

The hovercraft is on route from the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth and the catamaran is travelling in the opposite direction. Best viewed large! This was taken just outside the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour, with the. town of Gosport in the background. The tower in the background is the old Royal Navy Submarine Escape Training Tower (SETT), which was used from 1954 to 2020. Training is now done elsewhere.

Taken in a local churchyard. Part of the churchyard is fenced off and left as an area for wild flowers to grow.

All the components here were from a charity shop. The background is a sheet of art paper and this was taken in natural window light. I took this back in February and forgot to post it. Better late than never ;-)
