Indian Horse Chestnut Tree

Indian Horse Chestnut Tree
I took this from quite a distance away and assumed this was a Common Horse Chestnut tree. Looking at it closer on my laptop I noticed the leaves were different and after a bit of research, it seems this is an Indian Horse Chestnut tree...........unless any of you know otherwise.

Better viewed large, I think.

Die Kastanie blüht sehr üppig! - Wird diese Art auch so sehr von den Schädlingen befallen? - Wenn hier neue Bäume gepflanzt werden, dann meist rotblühende.

The blossoms look spectacular and the leaves are shiny and healthy! As Frank said, in Germany horse chestnuts sadly suffer from leaf miner infestation. It seems the Indian variety is immune.

I might just do that Frank.........but this was the closest I could get to it. The tree is in a private garden in the middle of a housing estate. I took the photo from a railway bridge that overlooks the gardens..!!
