Well to make you feel better Keith, I once drove to Tesco to buy a case of Guinness which was on offer. When I got there the offer had ended. I did not want anything else in store so I walked back home. It was the following day when I realised the car was not outside the garage and then began to panic when I found it was not in the garage either. Getting ready to report the car missing I was trying to remember when I used the car last. !!! Then the penny dropped. Daaah.!
Losing track of the days is very common When you are retired it doesn't matter what day it is.

After a lifetime in the RN and on the railway - I did struggle with the lack of routine when I retired, but I think I'm getting used to it now (apart from the occasional glitch).

Haha, it's world beating wonky and there seems to be fog in the Channel;-) Just have a few single malts and it will straighten out...

I thought it was my eyes at first, but my wife saw the "wonkiness" as well, so I was reassured. At my age a few single malts would just make me fall over :-))
