Light, Shade and Texture

Light, Shade and Texture
I spotted this stylised representation of a fish on the side of a building in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire. it's around 12 inches long. I added a texture to the fish and shadow in post processing.

It reminds me of the Christian symbol you sometimes see on houses, car stickers etc. Whether this is what is intended, I have no idea. I just liked the shape and the shadow :-)

Ulrich John, Jean Paul Capdeville, trester88, John FitzGerald and 15 other people have particularly liked this photo

Very well done, Keith.
Everyone should be able to show without any problems the signs of his faith, without danger, reservations and in the sense of a mutually peaceful coexistence of all
Religious communities.

You've got it all covered in the title and photo Keith. It's very stylish. I would hope it's something to do with living by the sea. Anyway, well seen and taken.

Have a good weekend.

Very well balanced light and white. It had to have some symbolic meaning. Evangelists continue to use it like symbol of abundance and faith as seen in the biblical story of fishes and loaves.

The shock of the ordinary. Something we'd normally ignore turns out to be fascinating once looked at.

Thanks for your kind and well thought out comments Wilhelm...........the shadow was very odd, but I think it works well as a photo. Glad you like it.
