I made two loaves of this chocolate banana nut bread last night. The first time I've ever made it. It turned out good and it is delicious! For the nuts, I used almond slivers.

Nelson Flounder Filets On New China

A recent meal I made and served on my new china. The dish is called Nelson Flounder Filets and I got the recipe out of a cookbook by Graham Kerr. The china is called "Blue Willow," and it's made in England. It's always been my favorite pattern - my Grandmother had some dishes with this pattern.
Oh, yes - the potatoes were parsley butter potatoes, baked.
There's Been A Hoot Owl Howlin' By My Window Now

I heard this loud owl and it was right outside my window a few moments ago. So, of course I had to go out and see if I could spot him. It turned out he was in a good spot to get a picture of him, so I did. Then he flew off.

I started with the idea that a small amount of chicken could be enough to start a dish with. So, I used one small chicken thigh to make some stir fry. Taken with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR today, on May 9th, 2022.
