Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR

Seen down at the Lighthouse Landing marina, in Grand Rivers, Kentucky on April 22nd, 2016.

I spied a Ford Taurus station wagon like mine one day, and parked next to it for a photo op.

Autumn is probably my favorite time of the year, so here is some Fall leaves from two years ago.

I see leaves starting to fall out my window and it's putting me in an Autumn mood. Here are some leaves from last year. There is an ant on one of the leaves. Be sure to look for it in the note above.

This is a fountain adjoining the site where the Roofless Church is located. It is one of the many popular sites in New Harmony, Indiana.

These are chicken strips coated with Cheese crackers and shredded cheese, then baked. Crunchy and cheesey on the outside, moist on the inside.

This is the Webb-Hay House, located in Carmi, Illinois. It was built in 1876, in the Italiante style of architecture.

So, today I found out that there was supposed to be this comet visible in the sky that was the brightest in recent memory. I did a little research and found out that yesterday, July 23rd, 2020, it was at it's brightest. I figured tonight ought to be just about as bright, so I went out looking for it. I got lucky and was able to get the best shot possible with my DSLR from right in my driveway. I took several shots and this one was one of the best I could get out of my equipment. But at least I got a useable image out of. it Like I did with Hale-Bopp back in 1997. It's actual name is Comet C/2020 F3 (Neowise.) There's just so many fascinating things under the heavens and earth that make me glad to be alive and to be able to see some of these wonders.

Some butter pecan ice cream I had one night back on December 13th, 2013. Taken with a Sony Alpha SLT-a77v DSLR. It was taken at the Chateau By The Lake, a resort hotel I stayed at near Branson, Missouri.

If you like a nice lemony taste, this is the dessert for you. It always seems to go over well when I take it to functions I attend. It has eight layers and between each layer is a liquidy lemon sauce that really sets it off.

Nice looking Ford station wagon I saw today, while out and about on the Fourth of July. It was located in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
