1956 Ford Fairlane

I saw this 1956 Ford Fairlane at a garage having some work done to it. When I went past it, it was up on the rack. But, when I came back by, the work had been completed and it was parked outside. So, I stopped and got this shot of it. The angle wasn't great, but it was the best I could get.

My neighbor, Raven, from a couple years back. She posed for me when I was shooting with a manual camera loaded with black and white film. This was taken to find out the settings - I use my digital camera as a "light meter."

Taken yesterday at the Carmi Corns Days festival. It's an old horse-drawn hearse that was on display in front of a local funeral parlor. Downtown they had the car show which I also photographed, but I figured since this was also a vehicle, I'd include it, too.

1958 Chevrolet Brookwood Station Wagon

I spotted this nearly mint condition station wagon last Tuesday, (October 18th, 2016), up at Fairfield, Illinois. Can't say I care much for the wheels, but other than that - I loved it! It had a couple spots marked on it with what looked like a grease pencil. Evidently, it's going into the body shop to fix a few minor dings. Check the notes on the image if you're curious where the marks are.

I saw these spectacular sunrays near Ridgeway, Illinois last week. They were only there for about 60 seconds - fortunately, there was a little side road near where I was driving so that I could pull off the highway and get this shot. Taken on October 19th, 2016, with my Sony SLT-a77v DSLR.
