Independence Day
| |
|
Today, July 4th, 2025, we celebrate the 249th anniversary of our independence. I'm thankful that we have a country where we can gather together, speak our minds and worship in the way we choose. Many men and women have died through the years protecting our freedoms and we are thankful for their sacrifice. God Bless our nation and our President.
I am personally celebrating this day and showing my allegiance to our nation by displaying our flag, Old Glory, and grilling out. What a country! The fireworks display will come later on when it gets dark.

to the oceans white with foam.
God bless America, my home sweet home."

2025 - Our Flag Was Still There

The Star Spangled Banner
Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Field Of Tanks

A lot of propane tanks being stored in a field near my town.
I developed this roll of film last night and it turned out real grainy. I had never used Ilford HP5+ film before, so I don't know if it's supposed to be this grainy or if it's because of how the film was stored. This film and four other rolls came with a camera I bought and the film was long expired, so it might be that. Or it might be that this film and developer combination doesnt work well together. Who knows? But the camera was broken when I bought it, so I was able to fix it and got it working properly. All in all, I guess I can't complain.
