My annual Fall Tree picture. When the leaves turn each Autumn on this tree, which is on the other side of town from where I live and on the same road, I photograph this particular tree. I’ve been doing it since the 1970s. It had been cloudy and overcast, and raining off an on for about a week, but the sun finally came out, so I finally got to photograph this tree in sunshine. This bell originally hung at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, which was built in 1838 and located about a mile from where it now sits next to this Methodist church in town. When the old church was torn down in the early 1980s, they placed the bell here as sort of an historical marker. I use this bell as a test subject when shooting with my various cameras. That's why you see it so much. This is some Egg Drop Soup I made last December. This turned out to be the best batch I'd ever made. I think I finally got the hang of it! Taken on December 7th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

I got this camera fairly cheap and it came with some "Arbor" brand disc film, which I had never heard of. I mainly bought it for the Arbor film.

This is one of the latest cameras I found for my collection. I got it for only a little over $7 because it didn't work. I took it apart and found out it was suffering from the "bad capacitor" issue. I soldered in a new one and now it works like a charm!
