Quayside Market
Another image looking across the marina from the East Quay this time to the colourful market stalls on the Southern quayside at Watchet on the Somerset Coast!
The long retired lifeboat in center of the image is possibly an ex RNLI Liverpool class boat from around 1939,
although this is not conclusive, any information would be welcome!
HWW! To all,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Large for detail!

The Chieftain, or The Elliott Gill are my suggestions, the latter was based at Watchet until 2023.
Both are unaltered "Liverpool" 'boats of the right age ...
Roger (Grisly) club has replied to StoneRoad2013 clubI have found this update, Re "The Elliot Gill"
By 2022–2025, it was based in Watchet Harbour, Somerset, under the ownership of local yachtsman Jonathan Pearman. It has been used for private outings, family use, and potential RNLI fundraising activities. As of mid-2025, it was listed for sale via historic vessel brokers, with noted commercial potential
