Indio Riverside County Fair (#1461)

At the south entrance to the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio, CA. I knew there was a Middle-Eastern theme prominent in the eastern Coachella Valley, but didn’t expect it right at the gate!

Somehow I went through childhood without knowing “Alladin and the Magic Lamp”, so I don’t know who this would be (see next picture). My first question to the friend I was with was, “why Yul Brynner (King and I), here?”
