Los Angeles Arts District (#0431)

Los Angeles Arts District (#0431)
4th Street bridge over the LA river (ditch), seen from the remains of the 6th Street bridge. The 6th street bridge, built in 1932, was a gorgeous and very memorable structure, but there was a problem with the concrete used in constructing it and it was demolished due to being seismically unsafe.

Is this the bridge that;s shown so often on TV commercials and TV shows? I've always wanted to go looking for that.

I suspect they're using this one some now, but the one that was used the most is the 6th street that had to be torn down (concrete/seismic issues), the remains of which are in the fenced enclosure. It was of the same general age, so very similar to the one (4th street) in the picture.
