Mt Shasta Everitt Memorial Highway bears (1083)

The drive up Everitt Memorial Highway was interesting and would probably be better when it was warmer and more inviting for hiking, but at least there were these two bears on the way down to add to the experience. Due to their size I had thought they were cubs with probably a mother nearby, but looking at the picture now they look a little more mature. (I took the photo from inside the car.)
