Lida Junction, NV Cottontail brothel (0038)
Former Cottontail Ranch brothel at Lida Junction, NV. Per Wikipedia the brothel opened in 1967 and closed in 2004 when the madam retired. I thought I had taken a picture of the brothel when it was open, but I could not find the picture.

I hadn't heard that tale! I thought maybe they'd lost their lease because this wasn't the "highest and best" use of public land.

Could be both, that she retired and BLM decided not to continue that use. The Wikipedia on it is about as skimpy as I imagine were the workers' outfits:
