Prospect Coaches (Megabus contractor) PR73 KNG at Fiveways, Barton Mills - 8 Jan 2024 (P1170257)

Monday 8 January 2024 (1403) - Prospect Coaches of Lye near Stourbridge PR73 KNG seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills when working the 1300 Megabus service M37 from Norwich to Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff – the last such through working of the service beyond Birmingham I believe. The Megabus website implies that to be the case.

I had been waiting to get some shots of the coach as it came by but before I could get any more than this first one a van pulled up right in front of the me and the camera. Consequently, the only other shot I got was of the rear of the coach between two advertising signs. Oh dear!

It is a Higer bodied Scania Touring K410 which was new in October 2023 that wears full Megabus livery. Many of the coaches working for Megabus carry a name, sometimes humorous sometimes not, sometimes travel related sometimes not. This coach carries the name ‘King Toot-ankhamun’.
