Mulleys Motorways coaches at Ixworth - 25 Mar 2023 (P1140772)

Saturday 25 March 2023 – Mulleys Motorways coaches parked up at the Ixworth premises seen from the upper deck of Optare MetroDecker YJ23 EKO.

BN17 JFK, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo new to Mulleys in March 2017.

EC17 PCT, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo new to Symphony Coaches, Hayes in March 2017. Previously operated by Impression Holidays and Excursions of Peterborough which closed in early 2020.

YY63 WCK, a Plaxton Elite bodied Volvo B13RT new to Park’s of Hamilton in January 2014 for National Express service work. Whilst with Park’s it carried registration LSK 808. Note the additional length of this coach.

222 VKE, a Berkhof Axial 100 bodied Volvo B12BT acquired from Thomas Coaches of Porth, Rhondda, South Wales on 20 March 2014. It had been new to Park’s of Hamilton/Trathens Travel in May 2007 registered SF07 ORZ but re-registered KSK 981. When sold by Park’s the original registration was re-applied. In September 2014 the coach was re-registered to 222 VKE.

With the advent of the much larger sized wing mirrors on modern day coaches it has become the norm for such vehicles to be parked nose in so that the mirrors are less vulnerable to damage by other vehicles.
