Tantivy Blue 61 (J 14616) and 16 (J 24573) at Corbière - 6 Aug 2019 (P1030734)

Tuesday 6 August 2019 – Tantivy Blue Coach Tours is Jersey’s largest coach operator. Two of their coaches are seen here at Corbière Lighthouse on the south western tip of the island.

61 (J 14616) is a Leicester Carriage Builders ‘Islander’ bodied Cannon Hi-Line that had been new to Pioneer Coaches as their number 4 in September 1998. Tantivy Blue acquired the Pioneer business in November 2000.

16 (J 24573) is a Wadham Stringer bodied Leyland Swift that had been new to Blue Coach Tours in April 1989. Tantivy acquired the Blue Coach Tours business in November 1996 to create Tantivy Blue.

61 and 16 enough to confuse two elderly ladies later in the day who got on the wrong coach!
