Manchester-Blackpool-Manchester service X60 (with X70) timetable - 30 Sep 1946 to 31 Mar 1947

The X60 service operated jointly by Lancashire United Transport, North Western Road Car Company and Ribble Motor Services linked industrial Manchester with the Lancashire coastal resort of Blackpool travelling via Bolton, Chorley and Preston. It was one of the most intense of express coach services operating every 15 minutes during the summer – although I suspect with duplicates it operated more frequently than that.

There was also a variant numbered X70 with only about three trips per day which slotted into the X60 format which omitted Bolton and travelled via Westhoughton.
