Ribble buses in Preston bus station - August 1978

August 1978 – A view of the Ribble side of Preston Bus Station seen from the multi-storey car park that sits above the passenger waiting area and divides the bus station into two halves. In addition to Ribble and its joint operators this side of the bus station was also used by other excursion and express service coach operators. The area on the other side of the central building was primarily used by Preston Corporation buses (which also a small number of local services worked jointly by PCT and Ribble).
