Ram Meadow coach park, Bury St. Edmunds - 17 Mar 1990

Ram Meadow coach park, Bury St. Edmunds - 17 Mar 1990
Saturday 17 March 1990 – Ram Meadow coach park in Bury St. Edmunds.
Beeston’s (Hadleigh) Limited 219 GRA is a Duple Dominant III bodied Leyland Leopard new in April 1982 registered WGV 861X.

On the right is 8019 LJ, a Jonckheere Bermuda bodied DAF, operated by Adams Bros (Handley) Limited (Victory Tours) based in Sixpenny Handley in north east Dorset. It had brought the team of Bashley Football Club to play Bury Town F.C. I believe this coach had been new to Derek Randall of London NW10 in May 1982 registered WRK 23X.

Far left on the edge of the photograph is Simonds of Botesdale 538 ELX, a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Bedford YNV Venturer new in August 1985. It was unusual in that it was fitted with bus seating and also had sliding ventilation windows (registered 538 ELX from new).
