This cutting is the lower part of a listing of day excursions operated by Yelloway Motor Services and its subsidiary The Creams (Lancashire) Limited taken from the Rochdale Observer newspaper dated Saturday 5 August 1950, two weeks prior to the August Wakes Week. Yelloway operated a daily all year service to Blackpool and The Creams operated a daily summer service to Llandudno and various other resorts along the North Wales coast. Both these services provided day return facilities so the excursions listed were to other resorts and specific destinations.
