Cambus 505 (UWW 8X) and 804 (PRJ 495R) at Cowley Road, Cambridge – 17 Sep 1989

Sunday 17 September 1989 – The privatised Cambus made a number of secondhand acquisitions in its early days buying buses surplus to two Northern based PTEs. These two buses were parked on Cowley Road, Cambridge on what doubled as the Park and Ride site I seem to recall.

505 (UWW 8X), a Roe bodied Leyland Olympian new to West Yorkshire PTE (5008) in March 1982.

804 (PRJ 495R), a Northern Counties bodied Daimler Fleetline new to Greater Manchester PTE in December 1976.
