DSCN2340 Felix Coaches (Derbyshire) YN55 YSE in Bury St. Edmunds - 13 Aug 2008
Wednesday 13 August 2008 (1437 hrs) - Felix Coaches of Stanley, near Ilkeston, Derbyshire YN55 YSE, was one of a pair of Plaxton Paragon bodied Irisbus/Iveco 397Es new in early 2006. It was seen parked in the layover bays of Bury St Edmunds bus station during a sightseeing call. The original owner began using the Felix name and cat logo during the 1920s but in 2009 ceased to use all cat images after Felix the Cat Creations Inc, of New Jersey, USA, asserted that they owned the rights to any feline image used with the name Felix. This caused the company to remove cat images from all of the fleet. In 2012 the Felix bus services were sold to the Wellglade Group and the coach holiday/excursion business to Swiftsure Coaches of Burton-on-Trent.
