Chenery EAH 44K, EGS 158T and VVF 800S - 2 Aug 1993

Saturday 2 August 1993 – Three Duple bodied Bedford coaches parked at the Dickleburgh premises of R W Chenery. The Duple/Bedford combination had been the mainstay of many independent family businesses for decades. Left to right: EAH 44K (Duple Viceroy bodied Bedford YRQ new February 1972. It was a runner but not used in service. It became a preservation project attending a number of rallies); EGS 158T (Duple Dominant bodied Bedford YLQ new in March 1979 to NAT, London W8); and VVF 800S (Duple Dominant bodied Bedford YMT new in September 1977).
