La chapelle Saint-Gonéry à Plougrescant (XVe et XVIe siècles). Sa flèche en bois recouverte de plomb, de 1612, est singulièrement penchée (pour ne pas dire tordue!). With their long roof, these wash-houses raised along the Marle at the beginning of the 19C. undoubtedly make up the most famous view of the city.

L'ossuaire (15-16ème s.) situé dans l’enclos paroissial de Lanrivain. The cult of the dead, still so vivid in Brittany, once inspired our ancestors to build ossuaries or reliquaries to collect the exhumed bones to make room on the cemeteries for the next generations...

Located in the parish enclosure of the church Saint Grégoire, it was broken into pieces during the Revolution of 1789 and then restored in 1860.

A most remarkable site. Currently, more than 100 statues (2.5 - 7 m high) have been erected and you can watch the sculptors at work. The aim is to create a "Breton Easter Island of the 3rd millennium", a place honoring the collective memory of Brittany through the installation of large granite statues, to the effigy of 1000 Breton saints who founded a parish; around myths of foundation are added legends telling the exploits of these characters.

A very different aspect compared to the Basilica in Evron ! The abbey Notre-Dame de Paimpont, first simple priory founded in the 7th century, is today the most imposing religious building in the country of Brocéliande. It is an old monastery of Gothic and Baroque styles built in the 13th C. The interior of the church is embellished by various architectural and ornamental elements, like three richly decorated altarpieces, the statue of an ivory Christ, religious goldsmiths and ancient books. The abbey holds this particularity of sheltering both the religious center of the parish and the center of municipal power, since the town hall is installed in the "Grand Logis", like the presbytery QUAND L'ARCHITECTURE FAIT VOYAGER DANS LE TEMPS... Un aspect tout à fait différent par rapport à la Basilique d'Evron ! L’abbaye Notre-Dame de Paimpont , d’abord simple prieuré fondé au VIIe siècle, est aujourd’hui le plus imposant bâtiment religieux du pays de Brocéliande. C'est un ancien monastère de styles gothique et baroque, construit au XIIIe siècle. L’intérieur de l’église s’embellit de divers éléments architecturaux et ornementaux, comme trois retables richement décorés, la statue d'un Christ en ivoire, des orfèvreries religieuses et des livres anciens, qui sont exposés à la vue du public dans des vitrines. L’abbaye tient cette particularité d’abriter à la fois le centre religieux de la paroisse et le centre du pouvoir communal, puisque la mairie est installée dans le Grand Logis, à l’instar du presbytère. WENN ARCHITEKUR ZU EINER ZEITREISE WIRD...Ein ganz anderer Aspekt als die Basilika in Evron ! Die Abtei Notre-Dame de Paimpont, erst ein einfaches Priorat, das im 7. Jh. gegründet wurde, ist heute das imposanteste religiöse Gebäude in der Gegend Brocéliande. Es ist ein altes Kloster von gotischen und barocken Stilen, die im 13. Jh. gebaut wurden. Das Innere der Kirche wird durch verschiedene architektonische und ornamentale Elemente geschmückt, z.B. drei reich dekorierte Altäre, die Statue eines Elfenbein Christus, religiöse Goldschmiede und alte Bücher. Die Abtei hält diese Besonderheit, sowohl das religiöse Zentrum der Gemeinde als auch das Zentrum der Kommunalkraft zu beherbergen, da das Rathaus wie das Pfarramt im "Grand Logis" installiert sind.

Au cœur de la forêt de Brocéliande, en bordure de l'étang de Paimpont, l’abbaye forme un ensemble architectural plutôt imposant composé principalement d’un grand bâtiment, abritant aujourd’hui le presbytère et la mairie, prolongé par l'abbatiale dédiée à Notre-Dame de Paimpont. Fondée au 7e siècle, l’abbaye, qui n’est à l’époque qu’un modeste prieuré, est détruite au 9e siècle lors des invasions normandes. A la fin du 11e siècle, on reconstruit une église romane ; c’est sans doute de cette époque que datent les murs les plus anciens (façade ouest, contreforts). Au 13e siècle, l’église romane est transformée dans le style gothique. Le bâtiment orienté nord-sud appelé "Le Grand Logis" est érigé au 17e siècle pour loger les moines augustins.
