Sail Away With Me (PiP)

Early 19th Century warehouse building. largely unaltered, that is now home to the Wigtown Bay Sailing Club based at the Isle of Whithorn, or simply 'The Isle' as it is referred to by locals. The Pip shows the facade with beautiful floral displays and an old rusty anchor on the wall to the left.

Thank you very much Joe. I liked the way the floral display echoed the building's use as a sailing club. I think the balcony was a later addition but aside from that it is pretty much as it was when it was a warehouse

Thank you very much Heide. Only a home inasmuch as it it the HQ of the Wigtown Bay Sailing Club which was established in 1955. The old warehouse building is a listed building. The floral displays certainly add charm to the building

;-))) Thank you Edna. I think the flower boat will survive longer, - banana boats are colourful but inflatable aren't they?!!! Can you imagine trying to plant roses in them ;-)) Could be fun though.

Many thanks * ઇઉ * . It is a listed building and has had little done to it but the floral display adds a nice touch of colour and makes it look welcoming. For me the fact that it retains it's origin features is quite appealing.
