Im herbstlichen Park - In the autumnal park

Diesen Schnappschuss machte ich kürzlich im Würzburger Glacis. Unter Glacis versteht man das freie (Schuss)Feld vor einer Festungsanlage. Dieses Glacis, das früher Würzburg umgab, wurde im 19. J. in eine öffentliche Parkanlage umgewandelt, die von den Bürgern gerne genutzt wird und wo sich viele Tiere tummeln. Die im Bild zu sehende Kohlmeise war auf Futtersuche im herbstlichen Falllaub.

I recently took this snapshot in the Würzburg glacis. A glacis is the open field in front of a fortress. This glacis, which formerly surrounded Würzburg, was converted into a public park in the 19th century, which is used with pleasure by the citizens and is home to many animals. The great tit in the picture was foraging in the autumnal fallen leaves.
