King's College Chapel

King's College Chapel in Cambridge, built 1446-1515 in Perpendicuar style, boasts of the largest fan vault in the world and still has its original stained glass windows. The main photo is from the choir, the notes are of the West and East windows. Corpus Clock

SC 109: Circles Corpus Clock was designed by John C. Taylor and officially unveiled in 2008 by Stephen Hawking. The clock face is 1,5m in diameter, made of 24 carat gold plated stainless steel. Rousham- William Kent's masterpiece

When he designed the landscape gardens at Rousham, William Kent had a folly built in a field across the river. The statue of the Lion and Horse is by Peter Scheemakers (1691-1781). oxfordgardendesign.co.uk/the-gardens-at-rousham In the first note a wide angle view of the same scene across the bowling green. In the second note the (bad) copy of the classic Dying Gladiator on the Praeneste Terrace.

It was presented by the English nation to John Churchill, first Duke of Marlborough, in recognition of his victory in 1704 over French and Bavarian troops.
