Thanks a lot, m̌ ḫ! Indeed:-) Never heard of that band (but that doesn't mean anything because I'm an opera buff and not very knowlegable about other music).

The music of Cranes is quite far from opera.... it blends dream pop, gothic rock, and shoegaze into a uniquely atmospheric sound, enriched by delicate vocals and ethereal textures. However, their tasteful use of strings, piano, and finely crafted melodies brings an elegant touch that can delight listeners who enjoy classical influences in a modern style.
