Gloucester Cathedral: Choir
The choir at Gloucester Cathedral is one of the earliest examples of Perpendicular style. Instead of building from scratch the tracery was built over the existing Norman building. The great East window (Crécy window) was installed in ~1350. At 22m high and 12 m wide was the largest medieval glass window in the world.

The main photo was taken from the ambulatory behind the choir, showing the Crécy window aT the top and the 19th century reredos below.
1st note: choir and Crécy window
2nd note: shrine of King Edward II with alabaster figure of the king and Decorated gothic limestone canopy

3rd note: tomb of Robert Curthose, son of William the conqueror. The figure is made of bog oak.
