Landwasserviadukt

Landwasserviadukt
Photo taken from the last carriage of the train (see inset for another take). I didn't manage to catch the whole bridge because another photographer kept sticking her head and arms out of the window:-(

Landwasserviaduct is a 65m high bridge on the Albula Railway and is crossed by about 60 trains per day. It's one of the many engineering feats on the Rhaetian Railway which gained UNESCO World Heritage status in 2008.

Ich glaube auf Pano solche Aufnahmen schon mal gesehen zu haben, ob bei dir oder Urbie weiß ich nicht.
Das weiß nur der Profi, wo die besten Plätze dafür sind. Im letzten Waggon natürlich.
Klasse, da wäre ich gerne mal dabei.

Herzlichen Dank, Uwe! Da waren noch mehr Panos dabei und die meisten hatten das Viadukt wohl hochgeladen;-) Wir hatten da den urbi als "Guide" und der strebte in Chur gleich auf den richtigen Wagen zu, ein ziemlich altes Ding mit Fenstern, die sich öffnen liessen:-) Retour waren wir im Fahrradabteil, wo jeder ein Fenster für sich hatte....

Schönen Dank, Lothar! Die wurde irgendwann vor nicht allzu langer Zeit generalsaniert. Letztes Jahr gab's woanders an der Strecke nach einem Erdrutsch einen schweren Unfall, die Lok fuhr drüber, aber 3 Waggons entgleisten...

Besten Dank, Auggie! Ich hatte getimt, hätte die ganze Kurve draufgehabt- und dann hat eine Pano-Kollegin schwups den Platz gewechselt und war voll im Bild.... Gnädigerweise war sie vor dem Tunnel fertig, so habe ich auch noch eine Chance gehabt;-)

Danke, Karin! Das war auch ein Fotofreffen - in kleinerer Gruppe sind wir 3 Tage in Graubünden rumgezogen, ein Schweizer (Panoramio-) User hatte das organisiert.
