Market Square, London,Ontario. The PiP at top left shows another view from this corner.

This photo and the PiP show metal sculptures from Bill Hodgson's installation "Metal Trees of the Carolinian Forest", which consists of 60 trees installed around downtown.

The tree here is a yellow aspen You can find out more about the metal trees by clicking the PiP.

And the light was perfect for appreciating colours, too.

A fascinating pair of shots John............the metal trees seem to have been nicely constructed and and are very colourful.

My view is that having seen the myriad of signs, traffic lights, wires, poles, etc that you see overhead in London (most of which you seem to have photographed).............is there really a need to clutter up the space even more?

Like you I would have preferred to see some real trees. Maybe the metal ones should have a park of their own?
