On the streetcar I sit in the long-legged persons' lounge at the back, if there's a seat. . I prefer the big view here. Click the photo if you want to see it.

River Wensum, Norwich ++++++ Probably inspired by a faulty memory of Monet's "Bathers at La Grenouillère": images.fineartamerica.com/images/artworkimages/mediumlarge/1/6-bathers-at-la-grenouillere-claude-monet.jpg However, I recollect this being inspired by a faulty memory of Pierre-Auguste Renoir's "La Grenouillère": media.overstockart.com/optimized/cache/data/product_images/RN860-1000x1000.jpg "Don't know thyself" is my motto. Monet and Renoir painted La Grenouillère while standing side by side. More tributes: www.ipernity.com/doc/fitzgerald/album/1294982?with=45547580

Spadina rhymes with Dinah rather than with Dina.

Lost coffee shop

27 Apr 2012 7 14 259
This coffee shop at 1 University Avenue in Toronto used to be one of my favourites. The long-running roadwork on York and Front Streets seems to have killed it off, though. The roadwork is finished now, but so is the coffee shop.

I only had my least favourite camera with me today (the one on my phone). One of my others might have captured this with fewer artefacts, but it's an abstract, right?, so like it don't matter. Take it from me.
