And that's probably the reaction a lot of his paintings get, dC. Monk's backyard was a strange place.

I suppose almost all FitzGeralds are ultimately related, kiiti, but that's all I know. His family had been out of Ireland for some time; his father was born in the West Indies, I don't even know what Irish county his family was from; knowing that would help narrow things down a bit.
