The source for the altered young woman is probably Antiques magazine: "A magnificent Pastel Portrait of Miss Mary Blair, aged 12 or 13. Signed and dated 1793. The figure drawing is "Young Man Holding A Pole," by Mirabello Cavalori. The catalogue it's from says only, "14th to 17th Century," in regards to when it was done. Well, it is now. :D One day, I have to remember to tell the story of how Herbert Read's A Concise History of Modern Sculpture (1964) helped save me from a blizzard. I used the "Craquelure" filter to create the rough texture. At least, it's rough from a distance. If you zoom in, it looks a bit like tiger stripes though. A funny coincidence. (And also, if you see distortions when you zoom in close on my images, I'm sorry. It might be an ipernity bug but I've been too busy to investigate that.)
