Citrus 9 - Problem

02 Sep 2023 9 10 635
Thank Heaven that I kept her shoulder and arm. Otherwise, there'd be no place to cram in the signature. :D Shown smaller than the original completed size of 4590 X 4590 pixels. See one original source here .

Beat Salad 11

20 Mar 2021 9 6 393
You can probably tell from those notches up the sides: it started from the same source as "Little Banana 9," but then it took off in a different direction. Enjoy! Shown smaller than the original completed size of 1129 X 1300 pixels. [Minor edits made 12/17/23.]

Little Banana 9

It's dark outside almost all day now. I need my brights left on! ;) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3060 X 3060 pixels.

Good Morning 7 (Bittersweet)

16 Jul 2023 10 8 505
Song break. The year is drawing to a close, and I guess I didn't finish many things. But I am very pleased with the ones I did finish. ("Why is it always bittersweet?...") Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3454 X 4525 pixels. See one original source here .

Jumpin' Punkins 3

Almost no Layer Styles this time. Relying more on blenders and filters to set the mood. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 1745 X 2210 pixels.

Her Fluffy Story

11 Sep 2018 8 2 411
I guess this is almost seasonal. The look on Eunice's face when she found out Mama cooked her beloved pet and fed it to the family will haunt me forever. ( The Carol Burnett Show for those of you from the wrong era or country.) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 4946 X 4425 Pixels. See one original source here .

Happy Hour 16

How are my autumn colors looking, Friends? ;) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3420 X 2275 pixels. See one original source here .

Rose Room 11

25 Aug 2023 10 8 528
I started working with a Pattern Overlay design called "Tie Dye." Then I had to figure out what to actually do with it. These things always take longer than you think they will. :D Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3555 X 5175 pixels.

Double Cross 8

14 Aug 2023 5 2 362
Hopefully, you can find the crosses in the center. (My husband tells me that stepping back from the screen helps.) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3500 X 3500 pixels. See one original source here .

Surf Club 4

07 Aug 2023 15 6 500
A little more cool, bright morning weather before the blazing heat comes back next week... or so they say. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2400 X 3162 pixels. See one original source here .

Overcast 3

24 Dec 2022 6 2 300
Built from a snippet of the ad here . Another type of piece I haven't done in some time. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2185 X 2185 pixels. (Small, late edit to expand the margins.)

Birthday Candy 4

07 May 2018 6 5 479
I haven't picked up this series in awhile. I've missed working on it. June is really the correct month for completion, that being my birthday and all. But... oh, well. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3705 X 2050 pixels.

Peaches 6

18 Dec 2019 6 2 343
Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2500 X 3131 pixels. The source for the altered young woman is probably Antiques magazine: "A magnificent Pastel Portrait of Miss Mary Blair, aged 12 or 13. Signed and dated 1793. Probably one of the best pastels ever executed by John Russell…” Hope your new week is good! <3

Tick Tock 4

08 Jul 2023 5 4 384
The figure drawing is "Young Man Holding A Pole," by Mirabello Cavalori. The catalogue it's from says only, "14th to 17th Century," in regards to when it was done. The original was in "red chalk on paper washed terracotta." Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3900 X 3000 pixels. See one original source here .

Eve's Gallery 3

11 Jun 2023 6 4 399
Is it still a gallery if it's outside? Well, it is now. :D One day, I have to remember to tell the story of how Herbert Read's A Concise History of Modern Sculpture (1964) helped save me from a blizzard. But not tonight, because it's pretty late. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 4275 X 3375 pixels.

Friday 5 - Friday At Five

26 Jun 2023 6 387
I used the "Craquelure" filter to create the rough texture. At least, it's rough from a distance. If you zoom in, it looks a bit like tiger stripes though. A funny coincidence. (And also, if you see distortions when you zoom in close on my images, I'm sorry. It might be an ipernity bug but I've been too busy to investigate that.) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 2850 X 4500. See one original source here .

Day Sleeper 7
