A Medieval frame, some 1940s fish, a 1950s shirt ad guy, a 1980s Carimati carving, and finally... a title from an unjustly forgotten 1990s song by local group Torcher. Sometimes it's hard to know where a collage ends and a rummage sale begins. :D I'll get all the references posted, one of these days. Song break!! And you'd better believe that after a two-month-plus gap in finishing a piece, I also want to dance. What happened? Uh, a whole lot of reorganizing my files and adding new source material. Also, I got sick, but that seems to be on the wane now. I hope this was worth the wait. Often, I'm not satisfied with the Type Boxes I make. At least, not until many weeks or even months after they're finished. Built from multiple variations of a simple shape: a square with a circle cut out of the middle. Just like "Snowy," the "Constant" series, and several others. I should make a special hashtag for these, so I don't forget how useful that one shape has been over the last year and a half. :) Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3000 X 3000 pixels.

The area at the bottom was once a string of pearls in an old photo of a Hollywood starlet. Then I saw the mushrooms "grow" from the many filters I layered on (along with the bouquet) and used a dry brush and pencil to "carve them out." :D Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3540 X 2625 pixels.
