Taken last Tuesday, which was a beautiful summers day. I don't know how they managed to get planning permission for that white house........it doesn't fit in with the rest of the houses at all :-(

I don't live in Emsworth (way out of my price range), but it definitely doesn't fit in and painting it white doesn't help..!!

J'aime les styles mélangés.Chez nous, les organismes qui régulent ça sont un peu trop rigides. Mais là, dans un site probablement protégé cette maison blanche détonne vraiment.. Je partage ton questionnement. (A moins que ce soit D Trump qui l'ai fais construire pour se consoler de ne plus être dans l'autre maison blanche de l'autre côté de l'Atlantique ??.)

The white house is an effective source of photographic tension, though. And it establishes a leading line with the white boats on the left.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Jean Paul. I suspect if it was DT who applied for planning permission they'd have told him to "get out of town"..!!
