I know some people don't like these pylons, but in some circumstances they work really well............and after all, they are part of the landscape, like it or not!

Popped over to Hayling Island yesterday after the rain stopped and had a play with my filters. The waves were breaking quite high over the groynes and a long exposure gave them a really misty, milky look!

I know this has been done thousands of times, but I still love this view. There is always something different to look at.

Family outing to the New Forest this afternoon.

Whilst I was waiting to shoot a sunset the other evening, I thought I'd get a few snapshots of what used to be the railway line that ran between Havant and Hayling line.....and the road bridge which is now the only link with the mainland. Taken from the Hayling Billy line looking towards the road bridge. This is all that is left of the old railway signal.

These concrete blocks are all that remains of the old wooden railway bridge. The rusty metal structures in the middle of the bridge are the remains of the swing bridge, which used to open to let boats in and out.
