View from the City Walls, Chichester

View from the City Walls, Chichester
When I go to Chichester, I quite often have a stroll along the top of the old Roman city walls, which are still remarkably complete. I like to look at the backs of the houses and getting glimpses into their back gardens too. (Yes, I know I'm nosey.......but I can't help myself)!

All the gardens back up to the edge of the walls and most are excellent sun-traps.

Nouchetdu38, trester88, Berny, Jean Paul Capdeville and 16 other people have particularly liked this photo

trés belle vue.Celà me semble typique d'une certaine architecture Britannique. (Ou tout au moins de l'idée que j'en ai.)

Thank you Jean Paul.............and you're pretty much right. Terraced housing is still very common here, it means you can get a lot of houses in relatively small spaces.
