View from the City Walls, Chichester

When I go to Chichester, I quite often have a stroll along the top of the old Roman city walls, which are still remarkably complete. I like to look at the backs of the houses and getting glimpses into their back gardens too. (Yes, I know I'm nosey.......but I can't help myself)!

All the gardens back up to the edge of the walls and most are excellent sun-traps.

It is so different to me to see houses so close together. They look really quaint. I love those chimneys with their range of individual openings.

It is indeed Jenny. They're mostly well kept and very attractive............I guess they know they are sometimes in the public eye :-)
